    UrQuattro will probably be a 2.2 10v Turbo with a whole 162hp

Deltas tend to be rusty and hard to find parts for, but I'd rather have one because sovl and ITALIA

Probably a Evo 1-4 or WRX STI Type RA

The Delta had a team of professional engineers and racing drivers. You have none of these. Get the German car if you actually want to drive it.

In the US most Deltas are going for $40k+ and Quattros are cheaper because they were sold here

      Anonymous

yeah but the quattros here suck ass because they were 162hp 2.1 10v turbos with the same power/weight as a celica alltrac st165/st185

thats why i'd rather get the japanese car for half the money

the other question is what kind of delta is it, a regular delta integrale kinda sucks unless you're getting a hf 16v then its about as quick as a older wrx.

in terms of looks the quattro wins, the delta in non-evo guise looks like a 80s wagon until you get up to a 16v integrale then they added the vented hood + widebody + spoiler

It lost to the Talbot Sunbeam Lotus and the Escort RS1800 on it's debut year, then lost the drivers championship to Opel in the following year, the manufacturers championship to a RWD Lancia in 1983, it finally won everything in 1984, just to lose to Peugeot in 1985, and by 1986 it was as competitive as the Metro 6R4

          Based wikipedia reader.
If you actually watched some of the footage of rallying during that period you'd realise that when it stayed together it would win rallies by massive margins and people from other teams would openly admit that the only way to beat them was to hope they would break down.

          It DOMMED.

            Anonymous

If it DOMMED, then it wouldn't have lost to a souped up RWD Lancia shitbox, an Opel, or a shitbox developed by a joint effort of the two worst carmaking countries in the whole world. Once people started actually doing the same thing Audi did (make purpose built race cars) it became irrelevant

A Group 4 car that you could buy a road going version of, which had the same fundamental mechanical components, and drive it on the road.

You don't win by people hyping you up, you win by actually finishing the race in 1st place, and Audi clearly couldn't since their unreliable shitbox couldn't be more reliable than a fricking french-brit shitbox or a Ford Escort

get the Quattro, cause I hate the delta with a passion, most of the zarri here in shitboitaly during the 90's always had drove a fricking delta or a punto gt and even a fricking Cosworth, most of them nearly run over multiple people, 90% of these c**ts basically destroyed their delta trying stunts on mountain passes killing other people too.

The Quattro was a premium car and barely everyone dared to act like a complete idiot with that
