Are they overrated? Worth the money? What do you think of them?

    I'm against modding cars mostly.
I'd rather just buy a more expensive car than mod a cheaper one.
At most I'd put a small splitter splitter on it.

Very few of them actually make the car look better. Especially if the car already looks nice from the factory. Just as important is the execution of the body kit installation which too often most people don't do right.

depends entirely on the kit and the car

Ruf RTurbo widebody for the 996. It's weird that Porsche never did a true widebody for the 996 generation from the factory (and somewhat the 997).

    >What do you think of them?
they ruin the cars they are being put on and the end result looks like botched surgery
I do like wider fenders but only if you put wider rubber under (in?) them as well.

If it didn’t come OEM, it doesn’t belong on the vehicle. Performance mods are another conversation. The super dank hot boy wide body kits for cars like civics and 86s have to be one of the lamest and trashiest things people do to cars. Even people that rice out their ScatPacks/Mustang GTs/Camaro SS, save that money and put it towards a down payment on a Hellcat/GT500/ZL1 instead of making your car objectively worse. It’s their money their choice but goddamn they have poor taste
