If it kicks of a golden era of increasingly frick huge turbo I6 builds coming out of all the companies to actually compete while getting shoved into the smallest packaged cars they can they might finally be on to something good for once.
GM probably going to regret dropping their I6 they were already making during the 2000s but never really supported instead of building on it this whole time.

If it can be tuned then sure. If it can't take a tune then it is dead in the water. Really the success of the nu-charger will be if it can be the new age (true) supra

I think AWD only was a miss. Should've been an option. I know it will have a donut/burnout mode but the AWD components still add weight cost and complexity

Dodge has lost virtually all police department contracts. Ther ewill be no police nu-chargers, they'll just be Ford Explorers and a few bigger departments have moved to mustangs for pursuit vehicles.

You mean what BMW has been doing for decades? Putting inline-6 engines in everything including hatchbacks like the 1 Series and giving you an AWD option.

The difference is that the BMW will actually be well built and the engine won't blow up at 70K miles.

Challys look like a fricking moving van. They're massive and look unfun. Old land yachts are for relaxing and cruising in style. Challys are for MUH BIG TRUGG market. This one included. Also it looks French at the front.

I love a good i6 as much as the next guy but this is Fiat Chrysler building them, not BMW

pstars can go 300k miles on one timing+plugs job, two accessory belt + one tensioner change, and normal fluid changes. there's a 20% chance you may need the rockers changed out by 200k miles.

if those greasy, cheap iltalian/frenches can make a v6 that good they can make a modern TT i6 at least as good.

        a 3.0 pentastar makes 230 horsepower
        a 3.0 HO Hurricane makes 535 horsepower

the cope in this thread is mega kek, the car will be just as reliable as everything else, and on top of that its not going to be slow. the majority of DA has 15 year old regular traffic cars, and are massive bench racers.

You’re acting pretty smug for something that isn’t even out, and that hurricane motor has been causing Jeep owners lots of trouble

      Anonymous

The 2023 challenger (since this nu-charger coupe is replacing it) has had blown motors, improperly installed windshields, and even two different instances of the car being shipped and sold without the body completely glued together. Dodge is selling cars that aren't fully assembled when they hit the lot, good luck buying a relatively new motor that's already caused problems with Jeep and delivery delays with Ram because of engine issues
