Think I dazed out a minute, I'm in the last tent, the breakbeak tent, it's 3 am, surrounded by junglist souljas, smoky, smells like CK, I'm soooo high right now......

    >"Lifeless" by Kosaka Riyu

I get inspiration from a lot of arcade driving vids like this. Helps me find good bands/singers.
    >"Begin" BeforU singer Riyu Kosaka

These two songs are the more chill music I like to listen to when just taking a leisurely drive down the touge.
    Song below is more high-paced.
    >Tsukasa "Prologue"

Generally though it's best to not listen to any music because you won't hear stuff break / tire squeal and it's a distraction.

Are you asian or driving jap cars listening to that music? Also you're sending the whole playlist with those links.

My music taste is really broad. Different music for different occasions/driving styles.

        >Paper Bodies - You Win Again Gravity

Hope these guys gain traction, they're sound fits my prefered niche like perfectly.

        >A Like Supreme - Samurai

Game was meh, but it had a few banger songs.

        >A-Punk - vampire Weekend

For fricking about with friends in the car.

        >Above Your Hand - Annabel

Love cruising at night to this. Just very chill.

        >Alchemilla - Regal Lily

Very suspenseful when at the limit. Prefer to listen when alone at night.

        >Ave Maria - Barbara Bonney

See. It feels almost ethereal watching the speedo climb past 100mph with this in the background. Almost as if it's the end of your movie.

        >Catalyst - Dorje

Not much to say, just a solid tune

        >Closer (80's Remix) - TRONICBOX

Another great chill song for driving through a well lit city at night in your C4 Corvette.

        >Dancing On My Own - Willie Watson
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3F73gNE8QQ
For when you're feeling sad and just need a peaceful drive 🙁

        >Daten - Creepy Nuts
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HRL5Cp_mPeo
Fun song to bop to when you're feeling cheeky at speed.

        >Dial Drunk - Noah Kahan
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9Kev73C2cc
Been listening to this a lot lately while driving.

        >Driver's High - L'Arc~en~ciel
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3fNZ2wwLGw
C'mon, it even has "drive" in the title.

        >F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X. - The Fall of Troy
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lbfqfh3XQ10
Fun on tight technical drives. Keeps the adrenaline up.

As you can see these are in alphabetical order. As you can see my taste is a quite eclectic, so I'll stop there, but if someone wants me to continue, I will.

    i don't know what the 909 means
is that why the old NFS songs are named 707/505/etc

      Anonymous

909 kickdrum from the Roland TR-909 drum machine, heavily used in 90s EDM, the *thump* *thump* *thump* *thump* sound you hear.

aka "909" for short. The old NFS tracks are just referencing those drummachines since thats what they were made with.

it seems only the irish, scotts, aussies and some parts of norf england that still adore trance & house music especially the classics.

The rest of Europe seems to prefer Black person boombap and cheesy hits from Calvin Harris and what not

            Anonymous

            >some parts of norf england
Go to any building site up and down the country and you'll hear Kisstory playing early late 90's and early 2000's trance & house music from a DeWalt/Milwaukee/Makita portable radio. It's not just the North, it's just more like people in their mid 30's to late 50's, and especially those with both anger issues and a drug problem.

            Anonymous

Id say some of calvin harris' more recent songs have been pretty good
They have just enough of that turn of the millennium sound to pull them back from being slop

Yeah those atleast sound decent, the modern EDM homosexuals keep hopping on trends every few years and milking them dry. I predicted years ago they will eventually return to the 90s trance sound and here we are.

            >2008 to 2011ish
            cheesy deadmau5-style electro house

            >2012 to 2014
big room house took over (they acc called it the EDM bubble back then / everyone and their cousin wanted to be the next Martin Garrix) and quickly died a while later

            >2015 to 2017
deep house and tropicalshit from Kygo started to gain popularity

            >2018 to 2020
house is played out, lets take techno and commercialise it!

            >2022 to present
no wait guys we forgot about trance music and classic house, lets bring it back but for real this time!

Knife party made a reference to this homosexualry a decade ago

Trends are always going to loop back around, but at least with music there are going to be people who make it because they like it rather than as a way to make a quick buck, so we end up with good stuff. You just have to dig through shit to find it
I came to enjoy a fair bit of what came out during the resurgence of techno because im a sucker for anything with a 303 line, but a lot of what has been released just seemed to chase the idea of making the kick as heavy as possible because the rest doesnt matter and it all blends together after a while

you must be AT LEAST this hard to ride
