Quick question, what do you think the word "communism" means?

I know what it means and I also know that the totalitarian regime does not adhere to the definition but it is an accurate term to describe the current state of the world.

          >the totalitarian regime
Who? Are you talking about fuel efficiency standards?

Why don't you move to Hungary or Russia or any of your "real freedom" countries with no fuel efficiency and see how nice your life is there, moron.

I mean lets be honest, the ford grand tourer is not a sports car, its a grand tourer with stripey styling and most people just call it a mid life crisis boomer car.

The Ford GT broke the standing mile record.
A year later the same car broke its own record.
Then the same car came back and broke its own record again.
      https://www.roadandtrack.com/news/a42253919/ford-gt-310-mph-standing-mile/

7 years and nobody has taken the record away from it.
      Not Bugatti
      Not Ferrari
      Not Lamborghini
      Not Porsche
The Ford GT hit 310mph from a standing stop in one mile on an abandoned runway.
Meanwhile Bugatti needs a private, 5 mile test track to hit 280mph.

doesn't matter. it's the only street legal car in the world to hold that record, and it's a ford

It does when you're calling out showroom stock manufacturers you dumb frick.
Call out the tuners who can't strap a big enough custom turbo onto their billet blocks.

            >It does when you're calling out showroom stock manufacturers you dumb frick
yeah, none of those manufacturers can produce a street car capable of 300mph, modified or not

            Anonymous

The engine has been modified some, yes.
            100% stock aero.

And yet with a multi-billion dollar aftermarket industry...
With thousands of custom Lamborghinis and Porsches....
With supercars that cost millions of dollars....

The record is held by a $180k Ford that was modified by 2 guys in their garage.

Interesting you say that considering the owner has never published a list of mods.
            It's still running the 5.4L.
He even drives it around town to (literally) get groceries.

Because he's obviously running 2700hp from an ebay intake and muffler delete.

Head/cam/intake kits have been the standard for 50 years. Why are you so butthurt about it?
            It's still a Ford GT.
            It"s still a 5.4L.
It still has factory A/C installed.

Why can't a $2,000,000 Bugatti with twice as many turbos and twice as many cylinders compete?
Lamborghins have a massive tuning scene paid for by millionaires and billionaires trying to out-do each other and yet none of them come close.
Why has nobody on the entire planet built a car that can take the title away from the GT after 7 years?

Mustang is really a GT car, it's fast but it's more on the soft and comfy side unless you go for the super roided out ones
that's not a bad thing, but it's not really in the same market segment as a Corvette

The only people with disposable income right now, Boomers, don't want sports cars. They want big bloated fat SUVs that are easy to get in and out of and they can fit into a McDonald's drive thru.

Once all the Boomers die off we might have fun cars again. The core demographic for sports cars are Millennials and younger people and they are all broke, saddled with student loan, credit card debt and skyrocketing rent prices, overworked and don't have time for hobbies and fun things, most can't afford a home and won't if they didn't buy before 2020.

Millennials tend to be pussy b***hes who imagine today is the worst time in history and reinforce each others despair because they're effeminate gaytrons.

They prefer to be wrenchlets and DIYlets which doesn't help and increases their lifetime cost of living immensely.

I wish they would. Say what you will about Ford, but they do often have some of the best suspension engineers in the industry so even the shitboxes are fun to drive, but now these talents are being wasted on dull crossovers exclusively.
    >A smaller than Mustang 2-door Capri
    >4-door Falcon sport sedan
    >High-end Thunderbird 2-seater that's between the Mustang and GT
None of these seem remotely likely, but if I were to guess the Thunderbird would be the easiest to cost justify.

We had this in the 90s and it was awesome. Could do 400whp on just fuel and turbo. I hope they don't sully the name by slapping it on another soulless crossover destined for a landfill in 7 years.

Why the frick would they do that? You gays won't buy it anyway. If fact, you won't buy any car that isn't s 20 y/o rusted out shitbox, so the manufacturers are simply catering to people who are willing to pay.
