whoever came up with the term 'lifesytle' for cars is a genius. car companies can sell 6 ton behemoths with top trim Camry tier interiors to mothers and act like it is a "lifestyle" instead of a waste of space

My only concern is why OLED? Isn’t that the worst for text and also not bright so hard to see in sunlight ?

i havent seen a digital car display that i couldnt read in the sunlight for like 25+ years now. where have you ever even seen or heard of this being an issue?

            Anonymous

OLEDs aren’t bright, it’s a property of the design and they run at ‘half’ voltage to reduce burnout. The general rule is don’t buy an OLED monitor or screen if it’s in a bright room

I have never seen these things go off-road. I think they offer it just to add cost and not for actual function. I wish they did though, I want to see richgays absolutely dunk on poors but they're too busy working their life away to do so.

i wheeled mine, granted it wasn't close to being a brand new 95k ride. Older gens are more capable than they are given credit for, unfortunately the current gens ditched the rear solid axle for irs.

ground clearance, styling, pricing, 3/4 ton chassis. but introducing the duramax was a good move. My gmt 400 has a truck bed essentially and sounds dynamite. still like these cars overall, i don't really like any other full size SUV. the excursion was based though

Do you think it was $30k for a new GMT Escalade? Escalades and even the high trim Burbs were always expensive flagship vehicles.
          >3/4 ton chassis
The market for a 3 row SUV with more towing ability than what a half ton offers is extremely niche.

i just want a basic b***h burb. also, i dislike the afm and vvt shit. like i said still like the new ones but not as much as the 400 series. 800 was good car but not a fan of the styling as much. 900 looked cool but needed afm delete on 5.3. which was gutless. 6.0 was better. never drove the newer ones unfortunately. drove a new expedition which was alright

Wealthy elites enjoy watching and/or knowing that their hired drivers get to enjoy the mechanical satisfaction of shifting from park to drive with a shifter while the poor gays push buttons on their corrollas on the way to skip their next oil change dude to inflation.
