Bajaj and RE are already in my country and apparently TVS is coming soon as well.

TVS is a good brand, they are high quality, they race so they put lots of engineering and testing to make their bikes lots of fun. They have a tie up with BMW, they make good products. The only thing that sucks about them is their service.

How's TVS maverick? seems like a decent bike.
Also has Hero finally released their HD collaboration bike? I can barely find test rides on that thing.

Hero maverick is apparently good. I'm worried about QC a little bit.

Hero also races, their suspension, chassis are on point. Their price is on the lesser side. Gods vfm.

RE has become high quality and a global seller. I'm very proud of them.

RE has decent looking bikes. They just released the SM 650 around here but it is a tad too expensive for me., Might get a cheap used interceptor, preferably the orange crush one

Bro apparently sm650 is uncomfortable. Shotgun and 650 twins are comfier rides.

no fricking way the sm650 is more uncomfortable than the twins. people have the habit of switching the seats of both interceptor and the continental gt because they are so ass.

i hope the shotgun or even the classic 650 are more comfortable then those.

Sm650 back suspension is too stiff, 650 twins back suspension is too soft. I'd choose int650 or gt650. Himmy 450 islooking real good though.

himmy 450 is looking real good. however we need to see how good the engine actually is.
Here in south America the 411 has the tendency to hit up in high speed and the panel starts showing a shitload of errors and the motor slows down on it's own. Good for inner city daily rides but not for road or off road.

also assuming i get the interceptor and want to change it's suspensions, which one should i use?

Idk, I haven't researched into it.

Let's wait and see about the himmy engine.

Bajaj is the worst of the Indian brands. They compensate for it by being the cheapest. Bad suspension setup. Too soft. Horrible chassis, parts quality is also cheap and they suck. Still very good for the price. They manufacture for Gaytm, triumph, kawis etc. They even own KTM.

      >Mahindra
No idea on them about bikes, but their trucks are real workers for the money, worth buying one to doing tasks specifically, so maybe you could say about getting a bike for em is for the same reason, work stuff that's cheap.
      >Bajaj
Decent bikes for poorgays that want features like ABS, LED lights and the such, usually its good to wait a year or two when they make a new model to fix all the common issues, Pulsars used to have oil leak problems at the begging, can be a issue if the concessionary has shit service or takes too long to import parts, always ask that before buying ANY BIKE. Also true what said about KTM/HQV. Pick a pulsar over a 200 duke imo, just keep an eye on service thing.
      >Escorts
      Never heard of em
      >Hero
A bit better than Bajaj, they usually make parts for Honda on their cheaper lineup, so if you were considering on getting something like CBR Twister, see if you can find the Hero clone, which is much cheaper and funnily enough, maintenance also will be cheaper considering its the fricking same.
      >Royal Enfield
Probably the best one of the whole pic for most people here, good bikes for the price, models are focused on nostalgia stuff, so they know most of their clients are boomers/midlife crisis gays, shit displays though, they should give you something better, 450 Hima is getting to it, but all of em should.

      >TVS
Definitely the most underrated brand of bikes of all, they actually make pretty good stuff, BMW made bikes with them for a long time, 310RR Apache is LITERALLY A BMW G310R for cheaper, and I would even dare to say, its even a better bike overall, it looks pretty damn cool, wished they made a white one, but hey, that's the BMW one at that point. Biggest problem for TVS has to be the localization and asking prices they have, they are all over the place depending of country, Mexigays had it at 8k usd, Chile at just 4.5k usd, on the US is not available, etc. If you can get one at a good price, do so if possible.

yeah, the only model of theirs that i dislike is the scram. it is clearly just repurposed parts of the himmy that they are trying to sell before the new model hits.

Also isn't TVS apache and maverick bikes good? they at least look good I suppose.

Maverick is torquy roadster with really well made chassis. I'm surprised myself. Maybe the eric buell racing may have something to do with it. I absolutely have 0 complaints about maverick.
Last time I drove rr310 it was terrible. Terrible braking, terrible chassis balance. So staying away from anything other than RE and hero
          >Harley
Yes it did. I have seen a few but like the maverick better

            What country would that be

I own a tvs 310. Its a BMW g310r. Its a good bike. If you don't like the chassis, you don't know what you are taking about. I do agree brakes could offer more feedback. Brakes come with sintered pads, steel braided lines bybre brakes. It locks up the front wheel pretty well. Brakes IMO are good enough.

            You have low standards

I would be happy with either maverick or Himalayan 450. I would pick the maverick because I like torquey roadster but if your long tour guy you should pick Himalayan 450.
If I could I would convince my brother to buy one of either so I could buy other. So I could enjoy the both. Although, my catagory preference have change. Getting rsv4 this year. Like the engine on that
