10 feet is pretty low, a lift like in OP pic would work but you wont be able to lift very high. you could do with a portable scissor-type lift but they cost as much as a two-post

You think that's spooky? The posts on my lift lean inwards when picking a car up. I've left cars on it for weeks at a time though.

oof, the floor bolts on the lift I use work them self loose every week or so, but only half the bolts do this

Mine haven't come loose yet, But my lift has some very large extension plates welded to the bottom of the posts to spread the weight out.

2 posts need thicker, higher psi concrete than what you'd get at home. 4 posts can be placed without needing to be bolted to the floor, I'm considering one of those

      a pit is coping
like seriously, in most cases just putting the car on stands and crawling underneath is far easier than working in a pit. A pit is just alright for a quick underside inspection, but holy shit do you not want to work in there.

Never needed one. I've got steel ramps, jacks and a chain hoist if something needs lifting. I guess it would be nice if I felt like wasting the money and space.
