How come so many wealthy people have so much talent for car racing?

How come so many wealthy people have so much talent for car racing? Is the gene that makes people inherit money also responsible for the spatial awareness, reflexes and motor skills that are needed for car racing?

Personally I like that poor gays don’t get to play. NBA is just a poor gay lottery ticket system where the hood fellows are entitled to the right to play.

It is funny that there are sports like tennis, racing, golf, skiing, where the actual goat never got to play and was too busy working as a binman

Racing cars is fricking expensive, even at lower levels. So only rich kids do it generally, which means barely any competition. It's not weird that Hamilton and Verstappen, who weren't THAT rich mog the entire field of rich kids.

Father of Norris is in the 500 wealthiest people in the whole UK. So yeah, compared to that, Verstappen's dad isn't that rich. He was a backmarker in F1 for a few years, that's it.

The whole reason why Max jumped straight from F3 to F1 with Red Bull was because they couldn't afford the two years in GP2 that Mercedes and Ferrari would have wanted. And they raced with VAR in F3 because they couldn't afford the top teams.

The best F1 drivers would probably come from the air forces of respective nations as the vehicles are basically fighter jets. So not rich kids, but ones who were vetted and weeded out to even be allowed to fly a multi-hundred million dollar jet.

Its because Kart racing is expensive af. They have the moneys too Kart on demand. We had a rich gay in class with his own Karting track at home. It was fun. But ultimately he grew up out of it.

It's literally just that rich people are the only ones with the chance to develop this talent. But it's funny what ideological fantasy people will come up with to justify this

Reminder that most creative projects today (art installations/exhibitions, statues, oil paintings, indie movies, magazine writing, stand-up comedy, fashion design etc) are done by bored rich kids.
In the 20th century, communist countries like the USSR and Cuba would pour a bunch of money into subsidising creatives.
And not wanting to be outdone, America, Britain, France etc all used to do the same so wagies from all different walks of life got to express themselves without having to worry about finding the time/money to do interesting things.
    That doesn't happen anymore.
And then people wonder why so much modern art today is bad.
Same principle in F1 and a lot of other sports, having the time to do something (instead of spending that time working to pay rent) means you can git gud at it in peace.

It can't be hard to test children for the necessary skills and get the most talented drivers from a far bigger talent pool. I know football academies use apps to test spatial awareness and whatever. They are used for training but they can also be used to weed out talent quickly because there are physical limits to the level an individual can reach. I don't know about racing but they probably have something similar. If you bundle these apps into a game that children can play online, you can target all of society, including favelas and banlieues. Award the very best with a seat in your karting team and it should be possible to build an F1 champion.
