That's almost every car if you drive normally. Practicality comes from being able to seat more than two, being able to pack enough bags for a trip, being comfortable enough so that you don't feel like shit after more than an hour of driving, etc, etc.

for the definition of practical. A Corvette is practical for driving around places. Utility refers to ability to do multiple, different things.

That's why SUVs are called sport utility vehicles instead of SPVs or sport practical vehicles. Is a bus practical for personal driving? The bus can seat 30+ people and carry lots of things so it must be practical by your logic.

All cars are only as reliable as the way you drive and take care of them.
Can't have a cheap (used) not slow car that can be "driven fun" whatever the frick that means without sacrificing reliability (i.e. needing more fixes than normal)

The concept is preposterous childish bullshit.
    You are a child.

Some cars are inherently more reliable than others due to design decisions. A 1980s BMW has was is effectively modern fuel injection systems whereas the Mercs of the same period run a fuel distributor that can only be rebuilt and tuned by a specialist. One can sit for a decade or more and fire up with an afternoon's worth of work, the other will require a $3,000 bill.

Faults on most cars are well documented by now, so when you buy the car you have to have in the back of your mind preventative maintenance. For some cars, the fix is worth more than the value of the car and is effectively totals the car. It's cheaper to buy another car than try to fix a design fault.

Propositional logic learn it memorize it figure it out.
        >All cars are only as reliable as the way you drive and take care of them.
An entirely inclusive, broad statement that implies the user of such statement knows every vehicle has unique needs, and thus the user is quite literally making a blanket claim which covers cars as a whole on their individual bases.

Stop hyperfixating and see the trees as a forest. People may not be as dumb as you project upon them.

    Pros:

    >mid 20s mpg cruising capable
    >loads of room especially with the rear seats down
    >no special maintenance required
    >6.4 Hemi and ZF8 is an amazing and reliable combination
    >sounds great out of the box
    Cons:
    >needs to be kept in a garage or somewhere secure because they’re huge targets for being stolen
    >suspension is on the stiffer side
    >MPGs in the city isn’t great
    >auto only if that’s a big deal for you
I had one as my daily for five years and it was spectacular. Could fit so much stuff in it like a bicycle and gear, large grocery shopping trips or comfortably fit four adults. Also ran low to mid 12s on stock rubber. Honorable mention is the Chevy SS which I was also looking at when I got my ScatPack

Not reliable honestly, the engines are fine but kinda weak internally and the transfer case/rear end breaks all the time.

Kinda understeery to it's not a car that likes to be driven hard because of the weight and soft suspension (most of them have the original adjustable suspension deleted cause it's $$$$)

Would recommend a G37S 6MT Sedan instead, more athletic and reliable imo despite being a Nissan product. Just hard to find now cause everyone realizes it's a 370Z Sedan and most were automatic + AWD.

There's nothing boring about 0-60 under 3 seconds, 1/4 mile in the 10s, and lapping Tsukuba faster than a McLaren F1. You charge it at night in your garage while you sleep, it takes much less time out of your day than driving to the gas station and waiting for the pump to finish. Adds a grand total of 4 seconds by my stopwatch.

now ill admit ive never driven an ev but based on stuff ive read and heard about evs is that the only fun part about evs is the acceleration and that is a one trick pony.
        [...]
dont forget that supercharging really is unhealthy for the batteries iirc

DCFC was bad for the Nissan Leaf because it was air cooled, but Tesla and basically every other modern EV doesn't get hurt by fast charging at all. There's plenty of data now, people should be embarrassed to keep spreading that particular FUD.

depends on what you call fast
i would call volvo 242 turbo fast since i drive a 76hp shitbox but if that is not fast to you then i don't really know
actually 740 would be better if original but i like 240 more

Ford Focus after MKII, especially with PSA's diesels
    That's too easy.

In b4 malding about how it can't turn (it can) and doesn't have a manual transmission (it sounds better than any car you'll ever be able to afford manual or not)

I loved my 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue. Highway-fast, practical, and didn't fail me (although maybe I got lucky, GM wasn't known for reliability even then).
No idea if there's even a modern equivalent.

WRX. I guess you can argue whether or not they're slow though.

Worse 0-60 time than an F-150. But to be fair I'd say it's not slow, it's just not fast.

    What is
    >1964-1966 Plymouth Barracuda
    >1967-1969 Plymouth Barracuda
    >1970-1972 Plymouth Duster
    >1971-1972 Dodge Demon
Checkmate, moron. (Though the Barracudas are more practical because of the fold down rear seat and trunk divider)
    >"Abloo bloo bloo I can't afford gasoline"
Better gas mileage than your average trugg
    >"Abloo bloo bloo I don't live in America"

    >"Abloo bloo bloo le muscle cars can't le turn"

in what world where you (a low skilled driver) going to be driving over 120-140 at any point? That's right, never. Get real.

All four are practical for hauling the wife and kids (or your midget and manlet friends) and can carry a respectable number of groceries, golf bags, or dead bodies in the trunk or your money back

I mean, a post-2015 Dodge Charger R/T can average 30mpg highway easily, has a 0-60 of 4.8 seconds, has useable back seats and a very spacious trunk for a sedan, isn't so big that parking is impossible, and is generally the most reliable American sedan ever built.
