Only it can save Dodge

Dodge is collapsing as a brand, the only thing that can make people care again in a post-charger/challenger world is another Viper. And it needs to remain all-motor FR.

All of this is because of Chrysler being sold to diamler and them stealing all the money that Dodge got in the 90's.

Chrysler's fricked. The dumb bastards at Benz destroyed their winning streak and Fiat put their quality into the shitter - their reputation is trashed.

Dodge isn't collapsing, it's being collapsed

Is this just nostalgia induced memory loss or intentional gaslighting for some reason? 90s Mopars were already bottom of the barrel trash.

I don't think you understand the context of what happened. Lee Iacoca "saved" Chrysler in the 80's by acting as new management for their loan guarantee, introducing the K-car and it's various badge engineered variants which were terrible cars but very cost effective (and KILLED the turbine engine, RIP). With Chrysler in a much more stable position by the mid 90's, they were interested in growing the company and obtaining new technologies for future cars. This ended up with a "merger" w/ Daimler, nominally with both companies on relatively equal footing. Chrysler sent engineers to learn from the Krauts (which is where the LX platform Mercedes influence, Mercedes suspension & transmissions, etc come from). In return, Mercedes fleeced Chrysler for all they were worth, running the company back into the ground by the '08 financial crisis, after which Daimler sold their stake.

Target market is not those people lol. All of those people bought mopars with ppp loan fraud and majority of them were repossessed. There is data for this too. Motor vehicle death went up, the crab population collapsed and nike stock skyrocketed. Black people were buying scat packs, crab legs and sneakers during covid with ppp loans. There's a website called ppp tracking, go there and look up any black person name LMAO

That's not fricking true. You're literally spouting bullshit memes. Fiat drastically improved build quality across the board for Mopar and it shows in quality reports to this day. All of the major, notorious issues were addressed and (with the exception of badge engineered shit like the Renegade) their only real issues have been industry standard like Infotainment failure.

I'm sick and tired of people talking this shit. Marchionne saved Mopar and he deserves respect for it. Without him, there would be no Mopar. We never would have gotten the ACR-X or the Hellcats. The man was a hero who saw an opportunity to cater to enthusiasts AND make shitloads of money in a world full of shitty CEOs that tell enthusiasts to frick themselves in order to line their own pockets.

The EPA dickriding French are killing Mopar. Stellantis is borderlining what Daimler and Cerberus did to Chrysler in the 2000s. It's a fricking tragedy because the Italians won the goddamn Horsepower Wars by saving Dodge.

Bringing the Viper back isn't an option. No iteration they could make now would be respectful of its legacy. It would simply spit in the face of what came before and accelerate the brand's demise.

They're bringing back the v8s so if the simply can't do another v10 (and they can, Lambo) they should just throw the demon 170 crate engine in it.
But if they MUST do a 6-cylinder, it's Stellantis group. They can either throw a built Hurricane I6 in it to boost the power to the ~650 range or just take the MC20's TTV6.

Nobody is interested in Dodge anymore. They need people to at least remember they can make decent cars. And then they need to make decent cars.

        False. Black people love them.

Black people love stealing dodges and/or used ones, not buying dodge new.
In fact, one of the largest dodge dealer networks in the US got sued for actively discriminating against black people trying to buy the cars anyway lmao.

They need something that looks cool, is reasonably practical but not too practical, and can be sold for under 30k. They already have a family of engines and transmissions they can use, and they already have cabin electronics. All they need is bodywork

Not really, Dodge sales are down because military recruitment is down among all branches except the USMC. Army morons were Dodge's bread and butter, since chairforce tards are still smart enough to know better and Marines aren't literate enough to complete the paperwork.

        >chairforce tards are still smart enough to know better
Lol, I graduated from Tech School and immediately signed a 60 month loan on my R/T. I paid $550 a month on E-3 pay. We're not smarter. Difference is we're intelligent enough to make the payments and avoid the repo man.
