>out driving. >theres a very light drizzle

>out driving
>there’s a very light drizzle
>have the wipers set to the lowest interval setting to allow the windshield to get wet enough to keep the wiper blades lubricated since any higher speeds would make the blades noisy due to lack of lubrication
>come to a traffic light
>check the vehicle behind me
>wipers going at full speed

Why do we even have wipers?
Why not just use a strong fan and blow the water off

It’s not practical and the fans wouldn’t last very long if they’re located where the inlet vents are.

Why don't cars have a giant baseball cap to keep water off the windshield?

Some vehicles do have something like that.

    >out driving
    >light drizzle
    >lowest interval still too fast and makes the squeak
    >have to manually turn on wipers for a single stroke every minute instead
    Why am I like this?

That shit’s normal. You turned on the automatic wipers, realized immediately it’s going to be a nuisance to leave it on, so you decided it would be best to activate the wipers only whenever it’s convenient for you.

I just don't use em tbh. Clean windshield it'll bead off at speed. Your passanger will not be okay with it.

I just spray wiper fluid once in a while to keep them quiet.

    Hello folks!

I am the Mercedes Sprinter! If you turn on my wipers and set them to the lowest, I'll speed them up for you like you drive through a heavy rainstorm!

You need new wipers anyway. You're welcome!

I don’t remember the Sprinters I drove, back when I used to deliver Amazon packages, ever doing this…
Then again, the fuses for just about every unnecessary thing used in these vehicles have been pulled, so I guess I wasn’t burdened by something like that.

Your average driver goes FULL FRICKING moron at the first sight of water droplets on the windshield
    >straight empty road
    >slight drizzle begins to come down
    >we're talking like a couple of droplets, the road is completely dry
    >FULL moron MODE ENGAGE
    >motherfricker in the SUV in front of me cuts the speed from 70 to 40kmh and blasts his wipers
    >I can literally taste the spatial awareness being thrown out of the window
    >everybody forgets how to drive
what the FRICK is wrong with people

    >use rainx
    >wipe like once a minute or less
    >see morons out there with their wipers on full in light rain
I dont know why people do this either. guess they dont care.
i NEVER use my wipers beyond manual wipe. rainx doesnt need to be constantly wiped, and having the wipers wipe automatically is annoying.

People are out there driving cars that automatically turn on their high beams?
No fricking wonder I keep seeing SUVs with piercing brights on in mild fog.

NPCs are moronic. Their brains don't work like us autists. Expecting the average person to be as smart as you is one of the biggest mistakes you can make.

OP probably belittles the rain. Black folk who fear using their wipers are most dangerous drivers

Because people are dumb. The average driver doesn't know what to do if their tire goes flat. They don't understand how to jump-start a car with cables. They don't understand what a turn signal does. Why do you expect them to understand what wipers are for?
