Maybe some sort of cutting tool that you can hammer in and cut the tube in half or just one side.

Maybe a sharpened skinny, long flathead screwdriver.

IIRC, they're not threaded, just pressed in. Since it's not in the car yet, I'd take the pan off and try to knock it out from the bottom.

might be able to snatch it out with an ease out, probably better lifting it onto a stand and tanking the pan off to hammer it back through

Drill it out. you will need a drill that is a few sizes bigger than the hole for this to work.

Engine was painted with valve covers on the valve springs are comp cam theyre red and mating surfaces can be cleaned lmfao. Yeah had no cardboard or masking tape lol. Also this tube snapped pulling the engine from an rv. Cast hole to the oil pan so knocking out from bottom not an option... ive built many a engines never had a ds tube this stuck fricker wont budge.

1977 is low compression, it won't respond well to a big cam.

K idk whos trolling. Im the real owner. I like red, i figured i dont need a zinc additive or whatever if i use paint on the valve springs cuz its like lead or whatever and im using paint as header gaskets cuz its cheaper then gaskets

I did similar but not as bad, ended up breaking the gearbox filler tube when removing the gearbox, should have removed it before taking it out but was trying to rush since I spent all day on it and made it crease.

I'm thinking just try to grip it with pliers.
