pretty soon Teslagays will just be in a constant state of motion and the very bonds between their particles will be torn apart and they will cease to exist on this physical plane of reality and instead be absorbed into an ethereal metaverse

It will use SpaceX-developed cold gas thrusters to give it downforce from a standstill
Combine that with the instant torque and extremely precise traction control of electric motors and you have a perfect recipe for the quickest road car ever made

        Anonymous

actually, I think the heavy as tesla will have it easier since more weight means more mechanical grip. All musky husky has to do is figure out how to get the car to suck itself to the ground without the skirts that team is using - or make them a wear item thats only used for launches and gets replaced whenever its worn out.

Its the G-forces a driver will experience by accelerating from 0-60 in a single second.

A friend of mine managed to convince his dad to let him borrow his Model S Plaid for a weekend last year (somehow), and that thing pinned you into the back of the seat like nothing I've ever known.

2.74 Gs would be something else entirely.

nearly 3Gs is formula 2+ kind of G forces.
my non aero race car will Pulll 1.35-1.4Gs depending on the surface.
& that's enough to make some ppl sick.

3Gs is a lot and that roadster will not be able to do sub 1 second 0-60 without some kind of downforce like a Fan car.
        it's not possible without downforce.

Probably theoretical 0-60 like how Bugatti claims their car goes over 300mph even though they've never actually did it.
You're not going to get that fast a 0-60 without an active vacuum under the car.

1.9s is possible, which is what they originally hyped. Sub 1 seems unlikely. For comparison, the McMurtry Spéirling can only manage 0-60 in 1.4 seconds, and that's the fastest accelerating road car in the world.

McMurty has yet to be made legal the swiss students used a special built formula with a giant fan to go sub 1 sec part of development for them was also choosing the lightest driver

Something that requires a car so low and sealed that it's not meaningfully practical, especially on something like a Tesla. You fricking morons always spout shit like this, not knowing that there are practical and impractical applications of said concept. This is one of those impractical ones, just like the moronic notion of cold gas thrusters.

Not on unprepped pavement. On a overly prepped drag strip with cheater tires, maybe. Plenty of street legal cars are already doing it in less than a second with RWD and good old dino juice, on a strip of course.
