Miatas, much like every other car on DA, are approved by people who drive them and hated on by everyone else on the board.

car enthusiasts love meme-atas, but dont own one. let that sink in.
if your a wagie go ahead and buy one, if you got more money to play with, you will buy something better.

The new 2024 Honda Accord genuinely looks beautiful. Clean, aesthetic design, doesnt look like a toy a moronic 12 year old would throw at their sibling in rage, excellent MPG and best of all cheap @ 27K.

I prefer the Accord, tbh. I don't like the huge fake vents on the Mustang. The Accord has them too but they're smaller and don't command attention to themselves like they do on the Mustang.

the Accord vents on the sides are functioning air curtains that point to inside the wheel well

Same, they finally made it look like a sensible sedan again rather than some angry-grilled fake vent-laden monstrosity.
My main gripe with it is that they gimped it by killing off the V6 drivetrain and also the manual transmission option. Hell, even if you end up with an auto you're forced onto a CVT.

    Tesla Model 3 Performance

    $45k after tax credits
    0-60 in 2.9 seconds w/ 1 foot rollout
    Adaptive dampers
    Upgraded seats with bigger bolsters

If you want to assault your body with accelerative forces, this car will do it most effectively for the least amount of money.

This is $35K for the luxury/sports trims, no range anxiety, and gets 40+MPG in the city. Also actually well built, unlike a Tesla

What's the actual 0-60? including 'rollout' which isn't actually a thing.

        Anonymous

It's another 0.3 seconds IIRC, so more realistically like 3.2 seconds 0-60.

        >including 'rollout' which isn't actually a thing.
It's a thing with nearly every manufacturer's officially quoted 0-60 times.

Preferring burnouts to managing gear selection yourself? Not surprised in the least. I'll continue having the option to do both though.

You can do a burnout with FWD, you just need enough torque.
No real enthusiast car is FWD.
But some real enthusiast cars are auto.
            That's just my opinion.

the rwd crowd never ceases to make me laugh.

Funny how you think enthusiast vehicles are economy cars with slightly better motors, rather than cars built from the ground up to be sporty or have performance, just because the latter doesn't offer manual kek.

I've driven just about everything that you might even think was good under $250k that's available right now. The only vehicles that are any good are
    1. Alfa Giulia Quadrifoglio (mostly because its so outdated it's still actually good)
    2. Cybertruck
    3. a base 911
That's really it, really sad time for cars. Pigfat, fake noise, turbo lag, shitty electric power steering, all trash.
