Not bad. How comprehensive is the coverage? I've got just liability, hence the low payment. I figure I can go without collision, since people tend to stay the frick away from Grand Marquises being driven like their stolen.

Farmers. Been with them for years. Not an agreed value. Going to actually see my agent today about my policy because this state allowed such massive increases in rates.

with the squarebody market as it is getting agreed value is worth considering. depending on what you have of course. my K5 is insured for 45k replacement cost for $591 a year through Hagerty. if the boomer fricks at mecum keep their shit up I'm going to have to increase it soon but that's another story.

my zip code doesn't have a major metropolitan area, but it's median income is $73,000 which probably drives prices up a bit.

also MEDIAN income for my zip code is low 6 figures, not $70k, that's the average income.

        Anonymous

That probably drives your prices down, if you live in the ghetto they are more likely to raise prices since people will do without it if they are poor.

          Anonymous

no, because the odds of the car you got into an accident with being a $150k F-150 PLATINUM KING RANCH with thousands of dollars of sensors in the tail light, is way higher than in the ghetto.
But yes, it is cheaper than living in the nearest metropolitan area, but it would be even cheaper if my zip code was closer to the national median income.
