depends on where you are that price is in colorado after federal and state incentives
the federal incentives are at point of sale, so it is just a direct discount, it lowers your monthly loan right away
the state incentives depend on the situation

        Anonymous

Where can you see state incentives? Because on tesla.com/inventory, the cheapest in Colorado is $39,140 - $7,500 Federal Tax Credit

          Anonymous

          google it?
the link is the first one that comes up, apparently Colorado has 5k credit

          https://evco.colorado.gov/whats-new/ev-tax-credit-eligibility

          https://tax.colorado.gov/sites/tax/files/documents/ITT_Innovative_Motor_Vehicle_Credit_Jun_2023.pdf

and actually going into Teslas order page and putting your zip code seems to show the same too (I put some random Colorado zip code)
          https://www.tesla.com/modely

so all in all 31 490 in colorado

oh yeah and inventory discounts stack too I guess
just put the zip code in
seems like the 7.5k isnt shown automatically in inventory vehicles, and if you order new the zip code specific savings aren't shown, kind of moronic
but both of them should apply to both inventory and new if you are eligible

but pic related should be the cash price before incentives, so 7.5k federal and 5k colorado and you have

            39,940-7,500-5,000 = 27,440

which seems about right, these demo vehicles seem to have the additional 5k discount so all in all its 17.5k discount compared to a model y ordered with no discount or incentives

Waitlines depend a lot on your issue. I got an appointment in 4 hours and a diagnosis in 12 for my more acute problem. Then again having someone loo at and treat your keloid scar could take weeks.

most europeans dont get in debt to get a degree
I have a masters in mechanical engineering and each semester was like 200 euros, scholarships are equally low though, I paid my semesters with them, but not much was left
none of my friends are in debt, out of 4 doctors I know only one had to take a year off to work and save money

and the wait time for a doctor? who came up with that? there are hundreds of stories of people going bankrupt or even not calling an ambulance because of how expensive is, but so little defending your "le ebin wait times" point

Education has been super underfunded for years now and is collapsing as we speak. standardized international test scores are crumbling and students are having really bad time. Vocational schools have been really poorly incentivized to become certification farms with no real education. And people wonder why they can't get a job with their now-worthless papers anymore.

    >Why don't you buy a model Y?

I rent an apartment and do not have EV chargers at my parking space. That's really it. I can afford a Model Y or Model 3, and even though I'm not the biggest EV person I think they're pretty cool. I work from home, so I don't drive that much, and I live in the city, so when I do drive it's not very far. The most I drive during the week is a 30-40 mile round trip. Occasionally I have a 80-100 mile round trip if I go to a concert in this nearby college town. That's about it.

But the thought of owning an EV and having to drive 15 miles to the newest supercharger, OR to use the grocery store by my house which just has regular chargers that I would have to use Tesla NAC adapter for...it just doesn't seem worth it.

If someone can redpill me and change my mind here I am open to it, but from what I understand, owning an EV when you can't charge it at home just sounds like a big inconvenience

There’s no better car to absolutely rattle priuskeks.

Their entire identity is built on being ok with driving an ugly, slow, small, toyoturd because it “saves gas money”
Then Tesla comes out with a car were you pay 0(zero) gas money, isn’t ugly, isn’t small, has better torque, better QOL, is safer, and seems to be rapidly approaching the sticker price of a prius these days.
    No wonder they feel threatened.
