Why would anyone buy a 50k+ Acura sports sedan that weight 4000+ lbs

Why would anyone buy a 50k+ Acura sports sedan that weight 4000+ lbs

I can think of so many other cars for more horsepower, less weight and cheaper price.

Like I dont even understand the point of this car. It runs 13.4 1/4 mile.

Comfortable ride, high-quality interior, isolation from road noise, prestige...
There's more to cars than drag racing them, you might figure that our when you get past your teen years.

Pick one. Or buy a better vehicle for the same price with magnetic suspension instead of a fancy Accord and get both.

Yeah an M340i will smoke that $50K FWD shitbox, still win out in all of those aspects and only cost like $3K more.

Of course an m340i will smoke it. However I'd rather have something with low running costs

I want an Accord but I also want something more comfortable and faster. Not a lot of options.
You could pay the same amount of money and get a BMW with 100 less HP and half as many driven wheels that's also uglier and has a worse interior.

It's an accord design to last 10 years.
Sure the equivalent b58 powered whatever BMW has more""""""potential """"" but you quickly eat some out of warranty repairs after 60k miles/100k km, right about the time the lease ends and your timing chain stretches or a 20 dollar guide fails.

      Non-issue in any BMW straight-six.

All the israelites printing money the past few years has pushed all car prices up

Whatever you thought was acceptable for a category in 2019, add 10 to 20k to get the modern MSRP
