Nuclear families are very well anti family. Its an idea that got popular out of the post ww2 abundance. But its not how humans have historically formed families, families were often extended, with uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, grandparents, etc, all helping each other. American white culture, is actually pretty anti family and has very weird ideas like kick kids out at 18 or go to college away from your household. All ideas that came from white culture. Im not saying extended families are perfect, but they seem to provide more stability than white style families.

I don't know where else to post this, but my idea for a Fairly Odd Parents finale is that it starts out like any other episode. Timmy makes a crazy wish, and Wanda says "I don't think that's a good idea." Timmy actually listens to her for once and decides not to make the wish. Then Jorgen shows up all menacing, but it turns out that moment was when Timmy officially qualified for Fairy God Parent training himself. Timmy gets trained and gets to practice being a fairy god parent for a needy kid like himself with Cosmo and Wanda helping of course. Eventually, Timmy wonders how he knows he's doing a good job so Wanda flashes forward in time to show him how Timmy's assigned kid grows up into a fine adult thanks to his help. Then Timmy starts crying because seeing that made him miss his own family and he doesn't want to be a fairy forever, so Cosmo and Wanda explain that it was just a try-out and he doesn't need to decide now. But one day he really will never see his parents again. A day will come when he never sees Chester or AJ or Vicky again, and that's what growing up is. When he's done growing up, then he can decide if he wants to be a fairy or a doctor or whatever.
It's all about how growing up means that people come in and out of your life, but their influence stays forever.
