Better would have been a mandatory panoramic 270-290mm rearview mirror for cars because this gives view through rear window & rear side windows without any added electronic systems for cars.

backup cameras are old hat and have been standard for ~15 years or more in anything but the lowest tier of new cars.
Don't care much for the cameras. Radar cruise is my pick.
My car doesn't have one, only sensors, but I plan to install a new head unit for aux/usb/bluetooth so I might as well get one with a camera
