I think they just look ugly because of the unconventional front end. I think they look nice otherwise, and if you put a more traditional front end on them they can look alright.

I think its just we're not used to sedans that have their motor in the rear like a Tesla does.

This one is rated 140km with a 30kW motor. It's about 10 years old now, so probably just 100km range left. Doesn't have Li-Ion but some older technology for batteries, so with a new BMS it could be extended I suspect.
