No, the ticket state finks to your state and then your own state squeezes your balls by threatening to suspend your license unless you pay off the other state in 30 days' time.
Probably nothing as I doubt they would issue a warrant for that. What would be more likely is that they would boot or tow your vehicle if you ever returned and some fat sheboon meter maid ran your plate. I'd honestly be just pay it and be done with it as gay and israeli as it is.
Is that an actual ticket or something issues by a private company like a pay to park?
option 1
don't pay it and ignore it, you will accrue whatever bullshit late fees they tack on, according to SFMTA's website they will boot and tow any car with 5 or more tickets
option 2
contest it, likely result in wasted time and typical city level bureaucratic bullshit
option 3
hire a ticket lawyer/ticket fighting service like donotpay.com or whatever garbage you find googling the ticket
option 4
just pay it and move on
honestly, given that this is the signage there I would probably give 3 a try before just paying it
yeah lol that's what they got me on. "game day" rules that you have to basically fricking play a word puzzle to figure out when they're active. I was gone for 10 minutes and the meter maid already got me, nearly got towed too.
The problem with fighting something like this is that tickets are often reduced to non moving violations to prevent points/insurance costs rising. He has nothing to gain by fighting this as I doubt an attorney would cost less than 108 dollars. Donotpay looks like a massive meme and there are lots of BBB reviews of it not doing shit for people and costing them more money. Their positive reviews on there look absolutely fake.
Statute of limitations on these is like 9 months most places. There are tens of thousands of unpaid tickets at any given time and they just go for low hanging fruit and pick off morons who leave their cars out in street parking. Some states will also enforce tickets from neighboring states so you should see if your state will care or not.
It'll eventually lead to a warrant for your arrest but if you never plan on going back it won't matter
It also depends on which state. If you live in CT and get a ticket in NY they WILL come for you, for example. Depends how far away you are and how buddy buddy your state is with the state you got ticketed in.
In Alabama, it's not theoretical.
They will come after you, cancel your DL and demand you surrender the plates to the car.
Most states have reciprocal statutes, so they will enforce collections of out of state tickets.
It's a racket so gub-mint gets mo' money.
Don't ask me how I know.
Holy fricking shit dude, how shitty is your wage? I make over $100 every day before lunchtime. Git gud. Shouldn't have spent high school cutting class and smoking weed under the bleachers, jackass. Your life now is the very thing you could have averted had you learned anything.
Sounds like he makes minimum, or under it if he's from a state that uses tips as the wage. You're right though, anyone can walk into a steel/lumber/paper mill and ask for any piss level position and make twice that amount.
I get shitposted little junk mail postcards at my house all the time from Amazon offering $22/hr to pick orders in their warehouse one town north of me. Anyone not making at least $20/hr in 2022 America needs to KTS since their life is pretty much rekt already
Happened to me. I ignored it, ended up getting a bench warrant. Got pulled over in my home state some time later for unrelated thing. Cop ran my license, came back. >You realize you have a warrant in Nevada? >A warrant for what? >Traffic violation. >Dont know about anything like that >Well, I'm not gonna bother taking you in for it, Just get it taken care of >Gives me my fix it ticket for a burned out tail light and sends me on my way
Price of the fine was almost 10X higher due to late fees. Just take care of it anon
The state where you got it tells the state where you have your driver's license and they will suspend your license in a month UNLESS you pay the other state off, at which point you have to get proof from the state you got ticketed in to show to your own state so you can keep your license unsuspended. I got a bunch of speeding tickets in cucked and gay 50 mph freeway max western Oregon and let them slide figuring 'frick it I'm back home' and then about a year and a half later I get some letting from my state's DMV saying my license was getting suspended in 30 days because of unpaid tickets in Oregon. I then had to pay off the unpaid Oregon tickets AND visit a branch of the Oregon DMV and pay them $75 on top of the ~$700 I paid them online to for my outstanding tickets just for them to release my driving record to prove to my own state I paid the piper and didn't need my license suspended.
I didn't pay a parking ticket and four years later the city had the state suspend my driver's license over it. Ended up forced to pay ticket + late fees + like $80 to get my license unsuspended.
I mean, that's what I was figuring but then people started posting shit like this

i have a friend who got fined for parking one street over (he has designated street parking but had family over). he didn't pay it and moved on with his life. family came over again, he parked there again, got another fine, didn't pay, moved on.
woke up one morning with his car missing from his designated spot, they towed it because he didn't pay the fines. when he said it was on his designated spot and they couldn't have done that they basically said "do you have proof lol"
>traffic citation
good thing we're talking about a parking ticket then

It goes to collections, which can be ignored. My wife got a camera ticket that she didn't even know about which went to collections. It didn't come up when we applied for our mortgage.
You get a bench warrant which doesn't matter until you apply for a job or housing and some rat-faced thirty-something c**t decides to flag your application. One of the many benefits of being a millennial in our technologically advanced society.
I would imagine eventually they send it to collections and hurt your good goym score
You will save 108 dollars give or take

some states will issue a bunch of warrants at one time every 1-2 years on unpaid parking tickets. it's an easy way to get a fat paycheck

The state will tickle your butthole and make you cum
for a bit more clarity, the ticket is from SF and the car is registered in florida

There isn't some interstate ticket tracking system

Look up the Non-Resident Violator Compact. California and Florida share traffic citation information.

Depends on the state. Most of the midatlantic states like NY, PA, CT, Deleware, MD, do.
