So this guy uploaded a review of the engine that use to go in all the V8s from Chrysler. It's a TT 3.0 Inline 6.

TAKE A LOOK AT THAT PIECE OF SHIT

      waht are these?

Solenoids for the cam phasers to control lobe separation. Playing games with intake and cam timing spreads the power band out.

Those are cam position sensors not solenoids

          >cam phasers
          >cam position sensors
why does it extend so far forward of the timing chain - large/weird in comparison to vanos and similar? because it's plastic housing vs metal?
          are these still hydraulically actuated?

100% this is going to leak and require an engine out
why can't 'engineers' just move the hose connection someplace reachable?

Why can't that hose just be part of the fricking block and head.

my old barra has half a dozen of these zero issue

Why can't that hose just be part of the fricking block and head.

        vibration/torsion it would crack

You don’t get it - this is there to break precisely after warranty.

        >100% this is going to leak and require an engine out
That is part of the EGR cooling system and is not present on the high-output version of the Hurricane. So it'll be a problem for your mom's SUV, not for the Charger her boyfriend drives.

        >100% this is going to leak and require an engine out
This is a rumor started by a video on Instagram where techs were lying about exactly this, and pointing to this hose. This was already talked about months ago, several techs chimed in to say that it was just a lie, and that the hose is accessible with the cowling removed in the current Grand Wagoneer.

Nissan RBs had this exact thing, it's all so tiresome

not if it's a cast in galley, as it should be

They have been selling crate Hemis and crate Hellcat Hemis for years. I can't see them stopping even after they are no longer used in production cars. It will only be a matter of time before Hemi swap kits are on the market.

In an ideal world, the V6 muscle car would have never been a thing, and the I6 would be the preferred budget option but would still be a badass performance engine

TT i6 is cool and all but why do the vehicle it gets put into have to weigh 4500+ pounds

same reason web and program devs have stopped making lightweight efficient programs in favour of just going "computers are getting faster every year bro just use all the cpu and ram bro"

BMW and Toyota already make i6 sports cars, we don't need any more. V8s sound better. i6s sound like shart. If you want to make more power, you can boost the n/a V8. For a TT i6? Lol.
